TOS & Privacy Policy

This document explains the nature of OnITExpo Virtual Fair Platform (later referred as “OnITExpo”), a networking software platform which is a trademark of OnIT Group. 

By accepting these terms of use (“Agreement”) or by using OnITExpo, you agree that you are entering into a legal agreement with OnIT Group  and have understood and agreed to comply with, and be legally bound by, this Agreement.

1. General 


1.1 OnITExpo reserves the right to modify this document without further notice and your continued use of the service thereafter means that you accept those changes. If you wish no longer to be a part of this Agreement, you must delete your account. The up-to-date version is always available on www.onitexpo.com. 

1.2. A part of this document is Privacy Policy which sets out the principles, under which OnITExpo may use the information you provide. 

1.3. If you do not follow the terms set out in this Agreement, OnITExpo may cancel your account. 

1.4. OnITExpo may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing this service (or any features within the service) to you at service’s sole discretion, without prior notice to you. 

1.5. We may collect, store and use the following kinds of personal information: 

Information about your computer and about your use of this website. This may include your IP address, your location, your browser type and version, your operating system, your referral source, your length of visit, your page views, and website navigation. 

Information relating to any transactions carried out between you and us on or in relation to our website such as your contact information, including information such as your name, your company name, your email address, and your telephone number. We will never ask you to share any sensitive information. 

1.6. We use the information we collect from you in various ways, such as maintaining and improving our services to fit your interests best. The data is used to communicate with you to provide you with updates and other information relating to our services.

1.7. We will not, without your express consent, share your personal information with any third parties for the purpose of direct marketing. However, the data you share at the booths is at your own responsibility.

2. Account 

2.1. In order to use OnITExpo, you have to create or use an account. When creating an account, you agree that you will give accurate information. OnITExpo is for professional uses only, so you are obliged to act professionally when using it, and only use it for professional purposes.

2.2. You are solely responsible for the activity that occurs in your Account, for the safe usage, maintenance and confidentiality of the password that you use to log in to the Service. If there is any reason for us to assume that unauthorized third parties are using the Service, the account is immediately suspended. 

2.3. You acknowledge and agree that the information you provide in the course of creating an account, joining an event community or registering for an event or other kinds of use of OnITExpo may be used in connection with the event or future events or other products and services. 

3. User Content 

3.1. The Service may permit the hosting, sharing, posting and publishing of content by you and other users (“User Content"). Your User Content may be posted to OnITExpo, or otherwise be made publicly available. You shall be solely responsible for your User Content and the consequences of posting or publishing them. We have complete discretion whether to publish your User Content and we reserve the right without further notice to you, to monitor, censor, edit, remove, delete and/or remove any and all User Content at any time and for any reason. We do not guarantee any confidentiality with respect to any User Content. 

3.2. You represent and warrant that you own or have the necessary rights and permissions to use and authorize us to use all Intellectual Property Rights in and to your User Content, and to enable inclusion and use thereof as contemplated by this Agreement. You retain all of your ownership rights in your User Content. You agree that you will not send, display, post, submit, publish or transmit a User Content that is unlawful.

4. Intellectual Property Rights 

4.1. You acknowledge that OnITExpo and its licensors retain all title, ownership rights and Intellectual Property Rights in and to the service (and its related software). We reserve all rights not expressly granted herein to OnITExpo. “Intellectual Property Rights” means any and all rights, titles and interests in and to any and all trade secrets, patents, copyrights, service marks, trademarks, know-how or similar intellectual property rights, as well as any and all moral rights, rights of privacy, publicity and similar rights of any type under the laws or regulations of any governmental, regulatory, or judicial authority, whether foreign or domestic. 
 
5. Third Party Sources 

5.1. OnITExpo may also enable you to view, access, communicate and interact with third party sources meaning third party websites and services, of which we do not assume any responsibility for the content, actions or practices. Your interaction with a Third Party Source and your use of, and reliance upon, any content provided by Third Party Sources is at your sole discretion and risk. 

6. Governing Law and Disputes 

6.1. This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. 

6.2. In the event of any dispute arising out of this Agreement or the breach thereof, the Parties shall use their best endeavours to settle such disputes. If the Parties do not reach such solution within a period of sixty (60) days, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Turkey to resolve any legal matter arising from this Agreement. 

Notwithstanding the foregoing, we may seek injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction. 

7. Miscellaneous 

7.1. This Agreement, and any other legal notices published by us in connection with the patform shall constitute the entire agreement between you and OnITExpo concerning the Service. In the event of a conflict between this Agreement and any of the foregoing, the terms of this Agreement shall prevail. 

7.2. No amendment to this Agreement shall be binding unless in writing and signed by OnITExpo. 

7.3. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of this Agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect. 

7.4. You agree that any cause of action that you may have arising out of or related to this Agreement must commence within one (1) year after the cause of action accrues, otherwise, such cause of action is permanently barred.
